Description: Rosin is brittle, concoidal fracture, hard, some tacky resin, transparent - light yellow - yellow up to barely transparent dark brown in color.
Pine rosin is a solid fraction of resin matter obtained from the pine gum after steam distillation or directly from wood by means of resinous substance extraction with organic solvents or alkali at high temperature.
Application: Synthetic rubber production, pulp and paper industry, tire & rubber and paint and varnish industries.
